How Do I Evolve Cards?
Collecting six Evolution Shards for a specific card will unlock its evolved form. Earn Evolution Shards from:
Pass Royale (Unlock at King Level 7)
Challenges
Events
Shop Offers
Magic Lucky Chests
Seasonal Lucky Chests
King’s Journey (Every second level after King Level 50)
Trophy Road
Evolution Boxes

How Do They Work?
Evolution Slots
Hold your hogs! Be sure to place an Evolution Card in the Evolution Slot or Wild Slot in your deck before diving into battle. You’ll know a card has been placed in the right slot if it appears magically charged and the troop’s appearance has changed to their evolved form.
If an Evolution Card is placed in a regular slot, the card will not appear in its evolved form, so it will function as normal in battle.
Slots that allow you to use Evolutions are unlocked at the following milestones:

Evolution Cards in Battle
Evolved combat at your fingertips! Evolution Cards bring enhanced abilities to the battlefield. To view the improved abilities of an Evolution Card, simply tap the Evolution tab from the card’s page.
An Evolution Card will not appear in its evolved form right away. The card must be played a certain number of times in a battle (until the diamond(s) at the top of the card turn purple) before the card’s Evolution is activated. Then, the next time the card is played, its evolved form will be let loose!
When played, Evolution Cards perform their unique ability automatically.
When an Evolution Card is used, the process repeats, and you will need to play the card a certain number of times again to reactivate its evolved form.
When Can I Use Evolution Cards?
Evolution Cards can be used in any mode that supports your personal deck. However, Evolution Cards may have limited use in:
Seasonal Events: Seasonal Events that use Event Decks may restrict the use of Evolution slots and cards.
Event Challenges: Event Challenges that use Event Decks may restrict the use of Evolution slots and cards.
Mega Draft Challenges: Evolution Cards are not available, but may appear for specific challenges.
