Cards are the meat and potatoes of the dish that is dueling! But this is no time to think about food - let’s learn all about cards, and how they can help you on your rise to glory!
Cards unleash units into the Arena. They come in five rarities:

Legendary Cards
The stuff of legends! Legendary Cards are unlocked at Arena 11, and can be earned through:
| Chests | Except for Epic Chests and low-tier War Chests, Legendary Cards can appear in any kind of chest! |

| The Trader | You can unlock new Legendary Cards by trading Legendary Cards that you already own with your Clanmates or the Trader. |
| Trophy Road | You can get your hands on some Legendary Cards by reaching a certain number of Trophies on the Trophy Road. |
| Shop Offers | Once you reach Arena 11 (3400 Trophies), Legendary Cards will start appearing in the Shop. They are available for 15,000 Gold. |
| Legendary Wild Cards | A Legendary Wild Card will give you the opportunity to upgrade any Legendary Card! |
Card Levels
Upgrade Cards all the way up to Level 16! Each level reached increases the damage output and health of the card’s unit.
Use Gold along with either Cards of the same type or Wild Cards to upgrade a Card. You can also use Gems to purchase the remaining Cards or Gold needed for an upgrade.
Star Levels
Unlocked at King Level 9, Star Points can be used to upgrade the Star Level of a card at level 7 or above, which can alter the visual appearance of a unit. Star Levels have no effect on gameplay.
Some cards have a maximum of three Star Levels, while others have just two Star Levels. Tap the star icon from a card’s view to see how the varying Star Levels will affect their appearance.
Earn Star Points by upgrading and donating cards.
Cards may need to be a certain level before a new Star Level can be achieved.
Please note! You will not earn Star Points for upgrading a card to Level 15 and above.

Decks
Create and save up to 10 decks per mode in King’s Journey and other modes with deck builders! If you’re fond of a deck, you can even copy and paste it between game modes!
Copy the deck by opening the hamburger menu in the Decks view and tapping ‘copy’.
Change to your desired game mode via the Battle Hub menu.
Paste the deck into a slot.
Please note! Private Tournaments and Friendly Battles don't have their own decks, and use the Trophy Road deck instead.
Deck Slots
To use special card forms or Champion Cards, you’ll need to place them in the right slot in your deck. There are three special deck slots:
Evolution Slot
Hero Slot
Wild Slot
Unlock these slots by progressing along the Trophy Road!
Evolution Slot
Place a card with an unlocked Evolution in the Evolution Slot to activate it. Unlock the Evo Slot at Arena 3!
Hero Slot
The Hero Slot can be used to activate either Heroes or Champions. Unlock it at Arena 5!
Wild Slot
The Wild Slot is… pretty wild! Use it to activate any special card form you’ve unlocked or a Champion. Unlock the Wild Slot at Arena 10!
If a card you place here has both an Evolution and Hero Form, you can tap the card and then the switcher button to change between forms.
