Magic Items are a resource designed to speed up your progress and give you more control and choice as you play!
There are four different types of Magic Items, all of which become available at Arena 2:
Wild Cards
Crystals
Card Boost Potions
Wild Shards
Wild Cards
Wild Cards can be used to upgrade cards of the same rarity! Wild Cards come in the following rarities:
Common Wild Card
Rare Wild Card
Epic Wild Card
Legendary Wild Card
Champion Wild Card
Wild Cards from Chests
While all Magic Items unlock at Arena 2, Wild Cards can be found in Chests prior to this. In this case, they will be stored in your Magic Item inventory for later use. You will be able to access your Magic Item inventory and use your Magic Items once you reach King Arena 2.
The probability of Wild Cards appearing in a Chest is based on the Chest level.
Starting from Arena 4, all Chests except Standard Lucky Chests and Seasonal Lucky Chests have a chance of containing Wild Cards, while the King’s Chest and the Legendary King’s Chest are guaranteed to have a given number of Wild Cards in each of them!
Please note! You cannot use Wild Cards to unlock new cards.
Wild Shards
A Wild Shard can contribute one Evolution Shard towards an Evolution Card of your choosing, getting you even closer to unlocking it.
Wild Shards are available from the Shop and Pass Royale.
You can hold up to six unassigned Wild Shards.
Card Boost Potions
The Card Boost Potion temporarily boosts one of your cards to your King Tower Level. Card Boosts apply in all game modes that use your own deck. Boosted cards in your Collection will be clearly marked with a ‘BOOSTED’ label, and you can tap them to see how much longer the effects will last. The boost will last for 3 hours once activated.
You can hold a maximum of eight Card Boost Potions.
Where To Get Magic Items
Magic Items are available everywhere in the game!
Pass Royale: For players with the Pass Royale, Wild Cards (and other Magic Items) will be available at most tiers, giving you more freedom of choice! If you don’t have the Pass Royale, don’t worry! There will always be Magic Items on the free reward track as well.
Trophy Road: Wild Cards are available on Trophy Road and replace cards of the same rarity.
Challenges: Wild Cards can be available after a certain number of wins!
Ranked: Wild Cards can be earned as you climb your way to Ultimate Champion!
Shop Offers: All Magic Items are available, but Wild Cards are most likely to appear.
Magic Lucky Chests: As well as other rewards, you can earn Wild Cards and Evolution Shards from Magic Lucky Chests. Keep in mind that the Magic Items cannot be received from Standard Lucky Chests.
Magic Item Inventory
Magic Item Inventory
You can view your Magic Item inventory through the ‘Collection’ tab. Magic Items you currently own are displayed here, along with the maximum limit of each Magic Item you can own.
The inventory will be checked when collecting Magic Items from Pass Royale, Trophy Road, challenges and Global Tournaments. If your inventory is full, you can:
Use an existing Magic Item to make space
Claim the new Magic Item to automatically convert it, as shown below:
| Magic Item | Conversion |
|---|---|
| Wild Cards | Random Cards of the same rarity |
| Boost Potions | Gold |
If your inventory is almost full and claiming more Magic Items would cause you to go over the limit, the inventory will overflow and Magic Items will not be converted. For example, if you have 900/1000 Wild Cards, and you claim 200 more, your inventory after this will be 1100/1000 instead of 1000/1000.
Inventory Overflow from In-App Purchases
Your Magic Item inventory will overflow beyond the usual limit if the new Magic Items are from an in-app purchase.
Good To Know
Wild Cards can appear in Chests after Arena 4! The probability of a Wild Card appearing in a chest is based on the Arena level of the chest - the higher the Arena, the higher the probability.
